Smashing photo Viv. I researched the Birmingham Boxers 1875-1900 some years ago and although this is just outside that time the names are familiar. I went to the newspaper archive while it was still at Colindale in London to read the Midland Sporting News for the 25 years, or at least those that were still OK to issue. Nothing on computer at that time and I used to get black from the print of the huge broadsheet originals. They came on massive trolleys.
