Cruck Cottage Handsworth

Di, I understand the sculptor is using it as a studio but is not living there. Sadly, from what I can see, no effort has been made to curb the rapid decay.

I think it would make a wonderful subject for you to paint but you'd better get it quick before it falls down altogether.

While I fully appreciate what cromwell says about the Old Crown, at least it's something and half a loaf is better than no bread at all.
If only the exterior of the Kruck Cottage could be brought up to that standard I, for one, would be a little bit happier.

Another old building, what is the current state of this old pub? it once stood not too far from the Olde Crown, then was moved to Cannon Hill Park where I understand it is crumbling away? I was told it was being restored, is this true? It would also be smashing drawn or painted!!

Sadly, Rod, it's been in the park for years now, supported by scaffolding, with notices stating that it is to be refurbished and moved back to Digbeth but nothing ever happens. :-\
