Any informaton about John Jonathan Crisp b about 1869Brockford Suffolk.He married Harriet Jordan 1892
in aston,She married Harry Wheeler in 1916 saying she was a Widow.There is a John Crisp on the 1911
census a widower living in a Lodging house 76 Lower Essex St Bham.he was a Blacksmith the right age
and birth place.A death of john Crisp 1943 in Bham,it says his wife Margret was with him.Was Harriet
a Bigamist.was John also a Bigamist.

Thanks for the reply.I have the above information and have entered this on my tree.Its what happened to
John Jonathan after 1911 that I would like to find out.It is strange that Harriet is said to be Harry's sister.
Perhaps would prevent wagging tongues about a women living with a man without being married.

In 1922 there is a John Crisp and a Maggie Crisp living at 4 court 6 Lawley Street.
1925 at 34 Lawley Street there is a John Crisp and a Margaret Crisp,James Shelswell and Elizabeth Shelswell.
1927-1930 at 34 Lawley Street there is a John Jonathan Crisp and a Margaret Crisp and an Elizabeth Shelswell.
1935-1939 at 34 Lawley Street there is a John Jonathan Crisp and a Margaret Crisp and a Thomas Bailey
1945-1955 at 34 Lawley Street there is Margaret Crisp, Thomas Bailey and Florence Lies.
Not sure if this is the marriage?

John Crisp married Margaret Smith Aston 6d 1095

Thank you very much for this detailed information.I have sent a copy of this to the Grand daughter of John Crisp.She used
to live at Great Barr but now lives in Brighton and is bringing her Tree up to date.
