I would suggest that you purchase the marriage certificate. That will give you the name of her father and his occupation and hopefully her age. That may assist you to find her birth. It should also give you her second name and this may enable you to find her death.

A Mavis Brenda Wood died 2002 Nuneaton/Bedworth her birthdate 23rd December 1925 this would fit with Mavis B Dobson birth registered first qtr 1926.
