Coventry Airport closure

Pity, I used it several times 25 years or so ago. It was no nonsense in and out, within an hour, my personal record was 10 minutes from coming off the plane to being in my car on the way out of the airport gate (without any baggage to re-claim, I should add). None of this, be there 3-hours prior to departure stuff and wandering around the duty free shops, there was a newsagent's counter only, as I recall.
