Corrington/Carrington

By chance I came across someone on Ancestry who has lots of family which matches my maternal grandfather's. However I have tried to contact her via Ancestry but she posted in 2008 so may not be a member.
I am having problems with a William Corrington, supposedly born 1822 in Wragby, Lincs. He was married to an Elizabeth Lawrence and they seem to have had 3 daughters and 1 son. An Elizabeth, a Lizzie and a Wiliam all of whom have the surname Corrington but they also have another Elizabeth with the surname Carrington!
An Elizabeth Carrington definately married an Edwin Robert Southwell and they adopted my Grandfather.
I realise we all have to re-check the records to prove the lineage but I'm stumped at the moment. I suppose I should really order Eliz Carrington's birth cert to move this forward. Any suggestions from our estimed members would be most welcome.
Thanks
David

Hi there,do you have Robert and Elizabeth's wedding certificate? If so,does her father's occupation match with your other information?
There is an Elizabeth Rebecca CORRINGTON registered December 1859 Birmingham volume 6d page 82,but I couldn't see a Lizzie or an Elizabeth Carrington born Birmingham (which is where she states she is born in 1911 census)

Morning ladylinda. I found the Dec registration as well. Also the more I delve into it I think that the person who has put all the tree on Ancestry has made a mistake somewhere. On the 1861 census it shows William Corrington with all his girls shown as CORRINGTON, not one as CARRINGTON. I think it's the Parish Records for me!
