cooksey road/avenue small heath

Not sure if it's the sunlight or the gardens but the first terrace photo looks quite a nice place whilst the other two much less so.

looking at the map i posted i cant see any evidence of any back to backs...if you look at the map there are quite a few called terraces and places which would have had courtyards..enjoy the tour of our back to backs the contents of a few of the houses were left insitu when they were vactated...the tailors house is very interesting as he left quite a lot of his tools of the trade..ps make sure you wear flat footwear as the stairs are very steep and narrow

I visited an inlaw in 1958/9 who lived in Cooksey Road, it was the first time I had seen a house with no windows in the back and no back garden but I think they had a few flowers in a small front area.
