Hi

I am also looking for information on my grandfather William Francis Conroy born 1892- Liverpool, lived in Flood Street in Dudley. I know he re-married Agnes Orme but sadly died aged 44. I did receive some information from Agnes's Daughter or grandaughter a long time ago via email I think her name was Bev and her husband Andy, but lost it due to my computer crashing.

I would be grateful for any information on William as my father is now 88 and would love to know more about his father as William left Liverpool in 1933 due to family problems, leaving the family behind.
Photographs, letters any snippets of him would be just fabulous.

Many many thanks
Carol

Many thanks everyone, and apologies for not being in touch sooner, have prolapse disc and can only sit for a short time.

I have unearthed info from 2002 about my Grandfather William Francis Conroy, when I put out a call in Birmingham I had a reply from a lovely couple named 'Bev & Andy' in Dudley. I lost all the info they had given me and was unable to get back in touch. My Grandfather married Bev's Grandmother Agnes Orme in Dudley Register Office 1940, altho' only married for 6 months then he died. I believe there were no children to Agnes, but can't help wondering if he fathered any other Conroy's, because he had been living in Dudley since 1933 and wonder if there are any photo's of him

I would love to get back in touch with Bev & Andy, but I dont know their Surname. If any of this information rings a bell with anyone, please get in touch I'd love to hear from you

Apologies for the delay in replying to you all, you have been very kind - my back really is a pain !!!

Kindest regards
Carol
