Not been to the Barbican but it does look a good example, he also makes a good point that bad management led to the downfall of Tower Block living.
I tend to agree as there are quite a few decent Tower Blocks left and the introduction of a Concierge system saved many from total faliure.

While bad management undoubtedly played a part, the slap-happy construction work of the firms that built them was probably more important. If they had been designed properly and built with care, there would hopefully be more still standing.
