HI
Alice Thomspon and Harry Thompson used to have a very small coffe shop about 1948-1950?

All my mom (she's 86)can remember is you walked down from the accident hospital and it was among the back to back houses. (Maybe even be in 5 ways)

My Gran, Alice, used to sell tea and coffee by the jug and make rock cakes, bread pudding, Apple pies and cakes by the slice.

My mom said the shop was tiny. All it had was a counter and a table where my gran did her rolling out and in the back there was a small oven.

I would love to find out more, my mom keeps coming out with these little gems and its the first I had heard about it, or Harry Thomspons Aunt Lizzie that lived with them that left her all her money, as she wanted to get her a coffee shop!
Thanks all
Bernie
