I'm not related to William in any way but my interest in him is connected with the research I'm doing on the 2nd Battalion Worcestershire Regiment. William served with the Battalion as did my grandfather and I have been compiling a database of all those that sailed to France in August -Novermber 1914. If you can add to the information that would be very much appreciated.
