hi I'm enquiring for my daughter in law, for the date of her g/fathers death in the 1980s.there is no paper work,her father is unable to answer ,mother doesn't know ,they don't know how old he was ,but the information on the death certificate seems to be relevant Is he impossible to find with so little information? cheers

Walter william Clee birth registered January 1908 birmingham
ref 6d 5.

Birth certificate from Birmingham register office will give parents names and then hopefully members of this forum can trace your family back.

Hi ALBERTA thanks for your reply does this mean there was 2W.W.CLEE. seeing as i cannot ask the real one to stand up I'm in a bit of a quandary.
the cause of death is of some importance. for medical reasons to the family The information MARYD supplied is missing the district number .They now tell me its either ACCOCKS GREEN or LADYWOOD , WOULD 6D on the application form be OK ,or should i leave it blank?

the birth registered in 1908 for walter william clee that alberta mentions is the same one born 29.11.07. the birth was just registered in jan 1908.

not sure what the reference is to maryd. can you repeat the question and we will check it out for you. bham register office are very good and will search for a certificate for you as long as you have some details.
