master brummie
In 1950 the Chief Fire Officer of Birmingham Fire Brigade approached serving Fire Brigade Personnel to produce a scale Model of part of the Jewellery Quarter for use by the Home Office in Civil Defence Training.
The Finished Model was 36 Feet long (11 Metres).
The completed Model was finally handed over to the Home Office in May 1951.
