Pedro - is that what's meant by 'exterior creator, James Nelson' in your post, i.e., creating the church we see now around the old wooden church ?

I don’t think so, will look again. I think he is the creator of the picture ?

Just read that it was originally the private chapel to Castle Bromwich Hall and is Grade 1 listed.
