it is with great sadness i have to let you all know that our friend chris sadly passed away peacefully in his sleep at the end of october aged 89...chris had been a member of this forum since 2007 and a moderator for many years...he attended so many of our forum meets ups and was so supportive of the forum and its members...he is going to be missed so much..

my sincere condolences to marlene his son chas and to all of his family and friends..

That's a terrible shock and very sad news. I loved reading Chris's posts, especially all the lovely memories of him growing up in Streetly with his wonderful, loving family. I often said he should write a book, he had such a talent for writing, it was a joy to read.
RIP Chris, reunited with your loved ones.
