Chinery Family

Mr Chiney of Latimer Street was noted as a builder in a Birmingham Daily Post newspaper clipping about a court case (cheque stolen from him) of 6/12/1894. This may/may not have been William, or it could have been a son.

There was a William Chinery who was vice chairman of the St Thomas Ward Liberal Assocuation in 1894 - perhaps connected.

Ancestry has a public family tree posted by Kevin Green which has photos of William Chinery & Jane Chinery (nee Deakin). Can't easily post these as on my mobile, but these look very similar to the older couple.

Thanks for posting! Yes those are the ones. Looked like they might be the couple slightly younger? (Sorry previous post came up without my name against it!)

Right - I think the line is as follows

William Chinery b 1841
son Alfred b 1867
grandson Frank b 1907
gt grandson Colin b 1938 - father of MInichin who posted the photograph in post #18
