Chatfield Bigamous Marriage?

You never know what might turn up in the future, so I would give up totally. If there's a record of him leaving England (assuming it's him) you would think there's got to me one of him arriving somewhere.

Returning to original question, the most likely answer still seems to be Emily marrying bigamously after being abandoned. First marriage Bishop Ryder, second Christ Church Sparkbrook
Thanks for that. I have made an appeal on another geneaology site for anyone with the facilities to do so, to make a check on arrivals to America during the relative dates but so far with no success.
I think that one of them is a bigamist but whether it's Show or whether it's Emily I don't know and for the present I guess I will never know.
I shan't give up but will take Pedro's advice and lay it to rest for a while. ( By the way I first started looking into this in 2016 and came up with nothing. 6 years later this new effort has, with the help and advice from our wonderful forum members, at least turned up the death of poor little Joseph and the possible emigration of Show.)
Thanks to everyone who took the time and effort to look at this and for some great ideas.

Here is the Bothnia's arrival in New York on 31st May 1890 on familysearch. There are 14 pages of passengers, I did search for variations of Levin previously but nothing came up. So assuming he's on there somewhere, there's been a mistake in the transcription or it's a variation I didn't try.

Thank you for the link I went through the list and the nearest I could find was Solomon Lieser born 1860 in Russia.
Given the date of embarkation from Liverpool and the arrival in New York this is the right passage.
Now this raises a few questions.
Did he actually board the ship or is S.Levin someone else?
Would he have been able to give a different name on arrival?
Did something happen to him during the crossing?
As the old song goes "There are more questions than answers"

He's the closest I could find as well and I searched for S/Soloman Lieser on the outward passengers and he doesn't seem to be there.

So possibly the same person and there's an occupation - cigar maker.

and another line in that song jim is "the more i find out the less i know" how true this can be when researching our family history but dont give up
