Charles Shepard

hi carol, i did see this birth but i dont think it is your charles shepperd. not just because of the name spelling difference but there was another charles sheppard about at the time, and he married a maria (at first i thought this was the marriage you wanted ) but realised that charles and maria, and charles and mary were two different couples. the burial of your charles shepperd puts his birth year as 1788.

Yes i think you are right ,i saw this marriage on IGI Charles and Maria i thought, hoping Maria was Mary,but obviously not.
With all these different spelling variations it gets so confusing.
