Hi,
I knew from census info that the Reeves family were connected to a shop...though mistakenly i thought it was just Mrs Sarah Reeves.
Anyway, while searching on Ancestry i found a reference to Charles Reeves (Sarahs hubby)at 20, Whitehead street,Aston (my chap,right address) in the 1879 PO directory under Dairymen and Cowkeepers(who knew
)
In 1905 and 1915 a Mary Clarke is a shopkeeper at the same address. Am fairly sure this is Charles' daughter Mary who married Joseph Castle Clarke.
Would love to fill in some of the gaps between and find out when Mary took over the shop...or even when Charles became a Dairy man...
Any help gratefully received..
Havetrawled through pages on A**y - No entry in 92 but found him in 1897...
Many thanks,
Kaz
