charles h king

marquita

Brummie babby
i would love to know what happened to charles king he lived at no 88, park road aston as a groser in 1915 but not 1916 ( please any information would be very much appriciated):)

would love to be able to help but with such a common name its difficult to know which one he is! do you know who may have been living with him (over 21yrs old) so that we can search electoral roll?

I’m looking for a link between King family, who I can trace back to 1916 in B‘ham, coming from Ross/Wales to a King family already in B’ham (Aston/ Lozells) by 1916.
My own efforts pre 1920 electoral role come up blank. Thus I’m interested to know where I can look to find others?

Do you know he was definitely alive after 1915. If you look at the directories between 1915 and 1921, there are an awful lot of business owners who disappeared . This was presumably because of being recruited into the forces , and never returning.

If he was Birmingham born, he would probably be the one whose birth was registered 2nd quarter 1866 Kings Norton, volume 6c page 449.
