hi! im brand new here, so first off, hello everybody!
I recently moved to Chapel Lane, and am very interested in the local history, Great Barr Hall especially (what an amazing building this was!) and I have been also trying to find out some history of Chapel Lane itself but there seems little info (from what I can find so far) I was wondering if anybody has any pictures of it? or any info which might help me in my search!
thanks!

Welcome to the forum.
I don't think I have ever seen an old pic of Chapel Lane but there are pics of Great Barr Hall. Type "Chapel Lane" in the forum search (top right) or type "Great Barr Hall" and you will see forum references to both items.
:)

ah great, thank you :) ive just had a quick look at those threads, what a lot of history there is and its all so interesting! ive just found on one of the threads you linked to an old map going back to 1887, I had wondered if it had always been called chapel lane/chapel farm and so yes, it has as far back as then- I will go and have a good look through now and do more digging!
thank you both :D
