My late Father Carden Wilfred Depper learnt his motor trade(motor bikes) in Maary Vale Road, Bournville he then moved on to a garage in Northfield (Bell Lane?) The years would be 1937/1938/1939. Has anyone any idea's as to the names/locations of these garages?. Iam aware of a garage in Mary Vale Road todat. Could this be one of the garages.
Thank You

There doesn’t seem to be a garage listed in Bell lane in that period. Mary Vale Road only listed:
220 Smith's Garage, Morris Sales & Service Depot. That is on the north side between Linden road and Selly Oak road, about 5 from the corner with Linden road. Can’t see any garage there in street view

Thank you. Iam sure that is the correct garage. In the trade directory does it show a similiar type garage Selly Oak/Northfield area 1938/1939.
It would be a small one man operation.
Thank You
Roger
