Canterbury Road Secondary Modern School 1952/3 and Aldridge Road Secondary Modern Girls School

Westonia

Brummie babby
Hi,
I am researching my mother’s ancestry. I have school reports for Canterbury Road Secondary School. I have searched google and looked at search facility. I am not familiar with Birmingham area. In 1952 the report refers to Canterbury Road Senior Girls School, so I am a little confused, if the schools are the same or different. Would anyone have any information or photos of the school? Anything to signpost and give a sense of place. I have looked up an archives page suggested. On the Senior girls school D G Baggs is the headteacher. I keep getting references to Canterbury Cross Primary School. Also any information on Aldridge Road Secondary modern. My mother attended this school in 1950. My mother was a boarded out child, so spent her younger life in foster care. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

And here's a thread for Aldridge Road
