At the Library and Archives Canada website you can now search the entire 1891 Census and view the handwritten enumeration schedules - completely free!

Thanks Bren. I live in Canada and didn't know of this update. It is good we have other people searching things and let us know. I will now go back and update with my husbands family line adding the 1891 census for them. This is far easier than having to go the the library and go on their machines for the records which are not posted by surnames so you have to go page by page to seach a name.
