This is a photograph of my dad taken during the war in France. Typical, he is the one holding the flaggon of ale in the front. He never changed......................
Can anyone please revitalise this photograph for me? Mabz
I wonder if it was taken perhaps in the Normandy region. The flagon may have contained cider for which that area is famous and was commonly brewed on farms. The Artillery always had lorries to pull the guns. I dare say lots of strange articles ended up being carried.
