Burial Plot request look up

Hello, I am visiting the Jewellery Quarter Museum next week, as my ancestors lived and worked in the jewellery trade and area between 1830 - 1940's, and would like to learn more about their trades.

I would like to visit a few of the graves which I have located in the parish registers.
Is it possible some one would kindly look up the burial plots, please.

Not sure if the cemetary would be Warstone.

George Paddy burial 6.7.1862 . Died at 84 Hockley Street - found details in Parish register
Emma Paddy (his wife)burial 10.2.1878. Died at 84 Hockley Street

William Thomas Paddy - died 24.7.1932 home address Selsey Ave., Edgebaston - details from death cert.,
Emily Paddy (his wife) - died 9.7.1933 same address

Thank you
Jim Duncan

The only ancestor on your list appears to be Emma Paddy 1878 plot H 1529. There's an Ann Paddy 1859 Plot F68 and a John Paddy 1868 no plot given but all in Warstone Lane.
Section H Is Near Vyse street, if you go down the side path alongside the office building you will come to it. i have a relative in H and i think if you stand facing Pittsford Street the numbers run from right to left?, perhaps someone can describe it better than me?:stupid:. My relative is in 1463 which is near the side path so Emma would not be too far away i should think, the plots are sometimes not easy to find and many are unmarked.
Sorry i can't find a better map at the Mo..

Also a picture i found looking toward section H from corner of Pittsford Street and Vyse Street, there's a path that runs the side of these office buildings..

That's ok, i hope you find your ancestor's grave. Just a tip, it might not always be a good idea to post your e-mail address online. You can click on Wendy's name and send a private instant message:friendly_wink:.

Thanks for your help Brumgum. I have removed your email from your post for safety Jim. Hopefully you have got the map now.

Good morning Wendy,

The map of the plots is great, it just shows what is out there to aid people in their research.

Regarding subject of email address, thank you and Brumgrum for the tip.

Best regards
Jim
