Burial at St. Martin's

master brummie
Hello
I am hoping someone would be able to give me any more details on the following burial that I have found on IGI please?

Rebecca Rogers B1784
Burial 24 June 1835 St Martins.
Spouse : Henry Rogers
I don't suppose there would be an address or Henry Rogers' occupation would there?

Many thanks
Suzanne

your date is correct suzanne and she was wife of henry rogers. only other info is mill lane and aged 51yrs

Thanks so much once again Shera:)

I think she may have been Henry's first wife and thought an occupation (he was a Tobacconist) would have clinched it:)
By 1841 he has a second wife Catherine ? B1795 and they are living in Bath Passage. I will have to have a look where Mill Lane is/was.

Suzanne

Shera
Could I be cheeky and ask you to look for the burial of a Peter Stannard at St. Martins 19 Feb 1837 please?
IGI has his birth date as 1747:)

Suzanne

yes the record says peter stannard of fazeley street, buried 19 feb 1837 and certainly looks like 90 yrs old

Ha!! Catherine Edwards married him in 1815 so he would have been about 68!! and she would have been 20 - wonder if he had money???

Many thanks again Shera:)

Suzanne

Thanks for that Shera. Sounds probably he would have married before:) He married Catherine at St Mary's Handsworth so I will have a look on the IGI tomorrow.
