I think there was a procession along Birchfield Road too, maybe on their way to Alexander Stadium. opposite Wellhead Lane.

I was wondering where that might have been in Perry Barr but I don't think the Alexander Stadium existed in 1903, it dates from the 30s I think.
It could have been the ground that was there before or maybe the ground on the other side, the Walsall Road, before the original greyhound track was there?

It could have been, it's not technically Perry Barr as we know it today but maybe it was classed as the general area in the early 1900s?

Here is a report which says it was on Aston Lane. Another report says it is on the Exhibition grounds.
