I'm looking for any information about my family name of Brush.I believe they date back to 1800 in Aston to the last know ones late 1950 in park road Aston I'm new to this and have n't a clue where to start.My father remembers a few names which are,Henry Cornelius ,Horace and a Harriet.Any info would be gratefully recieved
 
Hello Brushie, first you need the names of your fathers parents then their marriage certificate. If you know the approximate date of the marriage and both surnames post them here and I'm sure someone will do a look up for you so that you can order the certificate. That is where you need to start. :)

Thanks for the help and kind words. Well Colin, what can i say have we started something, turns out Cornelius is my great great grandfather and Horace my great grandfather. Would love to find out more about Eliza (b, m, d ) would also like to find occupations and addresses. Do you think it might be worth while subscribing to a certain ancestry site or are there other ways has im getting very interested and intrigued. thanks john

Brush family aston

I am a new member ( JOINED Today) and not too familiar with the way the site works. I have been browsing and came across your SURNAME. I had an Aunt Florence ( Floss / Flossie ) she lived in Upper Sutton Street Aston and was married to FRED Brush. he previously lived at 217 Lichfield Road.
It would be interesting to know if they are relatred to you.
