I have said before, I always found Snow Hill, a very dark, lonely place, at some 4 to 5 in the morning, with just gas lamps for light !!1

There does not seem to be any mention of ghosts haunting New Street station, so here is the first one.
Walter Hartles, a retired engine driver, who shot himself in one of the waiting rooms on platform 4 after marital difficulties in said to be sometimes seen sitting in uniform on the platform.
