curry and chips

proper brummie kid
These are some Brums Oldest Boozers, allot of history inside, they are still old style working mans pubs.

If your passing through have a pint, maybe have This Forum's meets in these pubs ? We would be helping in their survival too.

The Yew Tree - Witton (non villa match day need punters)

The Stork - Heathfeild Road

The Gunmakers Arms - Union St - Newtown

The Black Eagle - Foundry Road - Handsworth

We have had meets at The Black Eagle a few times. It all depends on location best to talk to Astoness about this.

Judging by the last couple of meets, the size will be a factor for a meet, we were nearly overflowing last meet!! And also good public transport links for those without cars.

Me and Templer will try and keep them all going

By the way we are going to the Wellington, Baccus bar for a meal and then onto the Post Office Vaults Saturday. Anyone interested are quite welcome.

Yes Patty the Black Eagle is in Factory Road very good Sunday lunch but you have to book.
