Is there any current or former Bromford Bridge/Hodge Hill residents about?

I am interested in hearing what peoples memories are of the area from before the building of the housing estate and during the building of the estate.

I lived there from the ages of 2 to 9 between 1986-1993, living in Kingspeice House (one of the blue blocks) on Blossom Grove.

I have memories of the patch of grass outside our block which me, my Mum and sister would sit outside during the warm summer days.
I attended Tame Valley School for a short while as well, which wasn't the best school, but decentish enough.

I was at Hodge Hill County modern school from 1959-1963 I remember being in the playground and watching all the cars, some posh others not so arriving for a days horse racing on what is now the estate ,or was when I left Brum in 1969
