I am doing my usual research for family history and have come across an entry on a genealogy site for "BREAT" Street which i think is a mistranscription by one of the transcribers of the original records. I then Googled the question where is Breat Street in Birmingham and the answer was for Bread Street which used to be part of what is now Cornwall Street: "Bread Street in Birmingham is a historic name for a location that is now part of Cornwall Street, near the junction with Church Street, known in the 19th century for its development but now part of the city centre's commercial area, distinct from the famous nightlife hub of Broad Street, though related through historical development in the wider area." Does anyone know more about the streets of Birmingham than I do (I don't know much at all!)" Any help would be much appreciated.
