Does anyone remember the name of the bread & cake shop on Hawthorn Rd - not where the main shops were by Woolworths etc but further down Hawthorn Rd towards Perry Common. I think the shop was next door to Taylors the TV/electrical shop. My mum used to manage the shop and I can't remember the name of it. There were loads of branches all over Brum. I think it was owned by Bradford Bakeries in West Brom. Viv.
 
Wow that was quick, your Kelly's must have been open on the very page!!! Yes it was Wrights, been wracking my brains for months trying to remember it. Couldn't find anything on the net either. My mom loved running that shop. Many thanks.
 
thats great to put your mind at rest, its awful when you cant remember and its on the tip of your tongue :D
