Hi Jay, having been born a Burrows I have lots of family from the greater Birmingham area. PM me with some of the famiily first names and I will check my tree to see if there are any connections.

If you are related to George Burrows from Short Heath Pumping station
so am I. My Dad, Frederick was second youngest son of George and Annie.
Born 1903, lived in the waterworks house.

Used to be at Beeches rd School with a lad called David Burrows in the late fifties, his Brother used to own (i think) a Garage near the College in the Great Barr/Queslett area (brookvale road if I remember correctly).
I went to school in Perry Common with a Donald Burrows and I know he married and had children one of whom was Balinda Burrows, who also so went to the same school in Perry Common years later of course....

I went to school at ickneild st hockley with stan burrows nice lad he eventualy went to south wales
the last time i seen or heard of him was 1960-61; and another friend of his was barry hills
they lived in hockley it was leopold st or park rd as i recall ;
