Bordesley Green area film/documentary

Mark0ne

Brummie babby
Does anyone remember a group of students filming in the area around Talford st and at little green lane/ wyndcliff school in the early 70s, probably around 1972/73, they were from a college or university and were making a film using old cine film cameras and talking to local Residents, they were in the area for about a week and they were planning to return at a later date to screen the film at my school (wyndcliff) unfortunately on the day the film was shown I was off school sick and never Got to see it, does anyone know of the film or if it still exists as I would love to see it.

MarkOne, I hadn't thought of that in all these years but when I saw your post it all came back to me. We had left Little Green Lane in about 1968 but I was at Wyndcliffe until 1972 so it must have about then. Be amazing if we could out more about it!
Lynn.

I'm glad someone else remembers this and I didn't imagine it lol, I did manage to track down a film clip that was recorded in wyndcliffe school hall in 1969 which was something to do with the tufty club, but it's held on a old film reel at Lincoln university and I've not been able to view it yet due to the lockdown
