Anyone know what this place was by side of Canal by Bolton Street off watery lane? thinking was it used to transport stuff long

The building by Bolton St was originally the John Troman brass bedstead works. It was sold by the firm in 1939, but seems to hav ebeen used by some other firms before the sale.It is not quite clear from Kellys which ones occupied the building.

David just done a little search on line and found we are looking the wrong way it is attached to the Edgbaston Assembly Rooms on corner of Hagley Road and Francis Road Thanks, it does look at bit Hagley Road-ish at the end of the road.
