Hi all

I have just found a Kelly's directory entry for 1900 at 310 Bolton Road for a bakery in the name of Harry Strawbridge. I haven't checked to see if he is a relation, but it's interesting all the same.

Any info or pics/maps would be appreciated.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

310 was on the corner of Oakley road as seen on map. He is listed in directories from 1899 to but not in 1897, when Ambrose Wimbush was there for a short period (Wimbush's were later a large chain, possibly this was the first shop), nor 1903.

Hey Mikejee

Great info. Wow, I knew you would get me a map, but the other info about Wimbush, fascinating.

Er, you probably know this is coming, but a pic would be unreal!!!!!

Great work though Mikejee, thank you.
