Boarding school in "Hampstead Row, Lozells Road", c 1841

Pigot's Directory of Birmingham, published around 1841/1842, lists a Maria Harvett working at, or possibly running, a boarding school in Hampstead Row, Lozells Road. Does anyone know anything about this establishment? I know there were other schools at/near Aston Hall but, from the address, this is further west. Any info gratefully received!

Doesn't the Lozells Road belong to the name underneath? ie Eliz Hayes.
So Maria Harvett is just Hampstead Row.

Ah yes, good point! And it looks as if "Hampstead Row"later become Hampstead/Hamstead Road, so in Handsworth not Lozells. Does anyone know if there was a boarding school there in 1841?

Yay, success - there is indeed a Maria Harvett in Hamstead Row! She is listed as a schoolmistress (along with a slightly younger Sarah Harvett, similarly described). The place is not described as a school, but seven female pupils - ranging in age from 9 to 15 - are listed at the same address, so I think it probably was a small boarding establishment.
