Blundell - the Aston variety rather than Studley

Hi to you all
I've looked at the information that has already been posted about Blundells and althought there is a mention of Thomas Blundell married to Mary Hinton (my 4th great grandfather) the branch he is mentioned against isn't the direct link I am researching.

I am interested in his son William (1814-1879) that moved to Aston and had Walter Edward (1854-1941) who had Edward Ernest who had my grandad Cyril Oswald/Oswold Cyril who everyone called Jack!

I am particularly interested in Edward's army career (can't find his army service records) in the 4th Worcestershire. I'm having difficulty finding his birth and death certificates, but hopefully that will change when I can get to Birmingham to research properly.

My other biggy is who William was married to. From the family stories that have been remembered, he married a Dinah and there was a Polish link. I'm not sure how true this is.

Any information anyone can help with would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

There are also 4 images on FMP army records. for Edward Ernest Blundell, father Edward Blundell. Seems this Edward Ernest joined 1904.

There's also a marriage in 1914 Edward E Blundell to Olive H M (actual page is Olive M M) Allen in Aston. Electoral rolls show an Edward Ernest and Olive Maud Mary Blundell living at Highfield Road/Terrace from 1920 to 1955
