Blakeland Road, Kingstanding.

My nan lived next door on the right, out of view in the 1953 photo. I remember nothing about the house. I was too young at the time. But I know the type of house well as we lived in one that was pretty much the same in Atlantic Road.

I assume these houses were built on the former Blakeland Farm land.

I see the original small, oriel upper windows have been removed in both houses.
