An exhibition and living history workshop/play about the Labour Party’s response to nuclear weapons used at the end of World War 2 and reactions of groups such as the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament/CND.
We’ll also look at events in Kings Heath and the wider Birmingham area in those tumultuous times.
Timings:
10am-1.30pm—exhibition, opportunity to view some related items from BPHA and All Saints Archive and make symbolic origami cranes.
1.30-2.30pm—short talk and living history workshop, presenting different post World War 2 viewpoints.
Both events will be in the church, free of charge, no booking required. All welcome. We look forward to meeting you. Any questions?
