That’s really nice to know. Many years ago, I had conversations with the elected members making Birmingham a green more environmentally friendly city. In 2015 we were also voted one of the top ten cities to visit worldwide by the Rough Guid to the World.

A while ago I came across a tree distribution map somewhere on the Birmingham planning portal. I was struck by the variation across the city. It seemed the more deprived the area the fewer the trees. Good to read that the Botanical Glass Houses have received funding to be refurbished. I spent some happy hours drawing there.
