1960s lack of use affecting airport bus service. Viv.

This support my theory mentioned in an earlier post that the licence for this service was not held by Birmingham Corporation. It appears that it was held by BEA who hired the buses from the Corporation.

Which could explain the lack of route number David. It only seems to have gained a number with the PTE.

On the South West Side of Cambridge Street in the 1960's was located an air terminal building that served

KLM
Air France
British European Airways
Air Lingus
Don Everall

Has anybody any recollection of this building?

I certainly remember it being there, but I knew nothing about it. I'm sure it wasn't there when I flew to Dublin with Aer Lingus in 1952, and I left the Midlands in January 1961 to move to the South Coast.
