Hi can only one help im look any imformation on the Bird family. im looking for the father of RICHARD BIRD, Born about 1742. and his death was 12/1/1805. Sutton Coldfield.
 
Hi Colin, welcome to the forum.I think you need someone with a full Ancestry membership to help you with this one, to get access to the Warwickshire birth and Christening records, as the standard BMD doesn't start this early.I'm not sure if you join on a free 2 week trial you can get this info, maybe worth a try. You could also try familysearch.org, its free and they sometimes have earlier records.

Hi Colin. The date 12/1/1805 appears to be when he was buried. His age was given as 60 which would put his birth at 1745. If that is correct there was a Richard Bird christened on 4/11/1745 parents Richard and Eliza or Elizabeth in Walsgrave on Sowe (near Coventry) and a sister Hannah christened 29/1/1743. There was a Richard Bird (Collier) burial recorded on 25/11/1758 also at Walsgrave on Sowe (maybe the father but no age recorded) and another Richard baptised 6 May 1759 same place same name of parents. Thanks for your replies.The family moved from sutton coldfield round about 1890 to sheffield so i cant nip round the corn to get any imformation. i live in Rotherham and if I can help anybody out i will. Thanks wants again Colin.
