Binnersley

I'm trying to find more information on Thomas Binnersley, born 1876 in Oldham, Lancashire. The first I heard of him was in the 1891 census. I knew my great grandfather had been married before as he is described as a widower on his marriage certificate but no one ever mentioned any other children. He is listed as a jeweller and my grandfather went to work with his 'uncle' as a jeweller in the early 1920s before he went to work at the Post Office.
I can't find him in any other census under any variation of spelling.
This is when I wish I was still in B'ham working at the Reference Library!!!

ive found one in 1881 which is a slight "possibility" although places of birth are not the same

In the 1912 -1915 directories there is a Thomas Binnersley , shopkeeper at 28 Nelson St. he is not there in 1908. In 1921 it is Mrs Mary Binnersley at 28 Nelson St. Possibly he died during the war.

Thanks Mike,
I think that Mary Binnersley is my Great Grandmother. Thomas, her husband was 10 years older than her and is put as 'Deceased' on my grandparents wedding certificate of 1919. Mum said she used to visit her grandma's shop as a child.
