Hi all,

I was wondering if you could help me to find my family in Dudley.
My name is Danny Michael Bingham and I live in Germany. My dad ( Vernon E. Bingham ) was in the armed forces and when he was stationed in Germany he met my mother. They split up over 20 years ago and since then I haven´t heard anything from him. I don´t know the names of my Grandparents ( Nan and Grandad :) ), but I do know that they are both dead ( wasn´t easy findng that out ). My dad has a brother called Arthur ( who was also in the armed forces ) and a brother called mickey who died at a very young age. He also has two sisters Linda and Ann. That is really all the information I have.

I know that my family are still alive and you are not allowed to give out such information without asking them. But do you know how difficult it is for me to find out the information I need, from Germany?

I hope you can help me

Kind regards

Danny Bingham

If you go to 192.com and put in Vernon Bingham,it brings up an entry for the census between 2002-7 but no entry for 2008.
The entry is for Vernon E Bingham and a Florence Westwood
You can access the full entry, which will give address by buying credits online.
This is explained on the 192 site.
Best of luck

It may help if we knew the approx age of your father.

Hi there, thanks for your replies. Would like to add that my dad Vernon E. Bingham should be around 60 years old. Thinking back, I think my grandad was called Horrice? Don´t know for sure though.

@Alf: Couldn´t tell you yet, if it is good here :)

Hi Alberta,

I haven´t got an uncle called wesley. I know that for sure.
My Aunts and uncle are as follows:

"My dad has a brother called Arthur ( who was also in the armed forces ) and a brother called mickey who died at a very young age. He also has two sisters Linda and Ann. That is really all the information I have."

Thanks in advance

Greets

Dan, Wesley A, could well be Arthur. It was common then to swap nameS around. My own father was christened George Arthur Neville but was known all his life as Neville. So the inital A after Wesley could be Arthur. I think Alberta's advice is right subscribe to 192.com and give them a ring.
