Looking back at the New Street/High Street junction before it’s redevelopment. The building in view was about to be demolished. That too later disappeared after WW2 bombing. Viv.
Never knew it was used for anything other than the circus. Can remember being taken there at the time of the photograph. Around that time the circus would also come to Heybarnes recreation ground.
