They brought Black Sabbath to notice apparently. Seem to be linked to jazz.

Wouldn't mind browsing their music photo archive. Can't say I'd ever heard of Big Bear before. Those 14 producers who originally turned down Sabbath in the 60s/70s must have been kicking themselves.

I remember Big Bear very well, the bands connected to the label used to appear together for mini festival events called Big Bear Follies (sometimes spelled Ffollies) - some great music!
There is quite a lot of information on the Web about the label and artists and Jim Simpson himself, he was a musician himself originally, played the trumpet.
