Back home in Devon, got to ride a tram, and to see how various banks around the city have finished up as pubs. Villa not to be mentioned!

So nice to see you all enjoying yourselves. Eric's pic with the Lanc brought a tear to my eye. What a lovely gift. Sad also that I couldn't be there but had plenty of distraction with my son over here and family get together. Now shattered.

nice photos everyone...as you can see davidgrain won the first painting..keyhill brian had second choice so he had the old market hall one but because davids painting was of brians old end they did a swap phil won the 3rd paining of the highest pub in england and gave it to mikejee so everyone was happy

I would like to thank the members who gave me the gift of a display model of the Lancaster. I never thanked them properly at the time as it was unexpected and I was a little over come as over 65 years ago (1949-51) I was fortunate enough to serve on the last Lancaster squadron in the RAF, 82(PR) Squadron in Africa and flew over 2,ooo hours as a wireless operator. Thank you all once again. Eric

eric i think the photos of you on post 8 says it all...plain for all to see how proud you still are to have flown the wonderful lancasters and quite rightly so...you have supported this forum since the day you joined...attending all of our meet ups over the years and donating i dont know how many of your much sought after paintings..we all owe you a great deal....thank you
